Pivotal Weather provides weather model data in a clean, modern, and professional way. This is a great resource for scanning weather model information to help your forecasting.

CoAgMET Mesonet

CoAgMET is a statewide mesonet run by Colorado State University. Intended for agricultural purposes, it’s also useful for data during severe weather outbreaks.

    Our recommended NEXRAD radar app. Access all NWS radars across the U.S. in super-resolution, including dual-polarization products. It’s the one we use day-to-day.
  • GRLevelX
    Gibson Ridge Software is popular among severe weather researchers. The software offers more advanced features, but is tougher to use for beginners.
